Destron Universal Portable Reader and Antennas

The Destron Universal Portable Reader is a versatile stationary, portable and hand-held device that reads radio frequency identification (RFID) tags that are in conformance with ISO-11784 and ISO-11785 standards for A, B, and HD tags. The configuration consists of transceiver electronics and connects to any of the following antennas:

Destron Racket Antenna

Destron EXT Stick Antenna in 18" or 36" lengths

Destron Neck-Extender Antenna

Destron Walk Through Antenna

Destron 2 x 4 Panel Antenna (recommended for packing plant or sale barn use and in some instances in feedlots)

The Destron Universal Portable Reader is easily connected to a computer for control, monitoring and installation and logging RFID tag numbers.

Important: When using the Universal Portable Reader with the Neck-Extender Antenna, Walk-Through Antenna or 2 x 4 Panel Antenna the FS2001 Reader must be tuned with either the Auto-Tune feature which is available as an option with the FS2001 or with the use of the Destron Tuning Box. These are not included in the basic purchase price of the antennas or reader.

The Destron Universal Portable Reader is available battery operated for an extra $500.00.

At this time the Auto-Tune feature cannot be combined with the battery-operated FS2001 but the unit can be set up for use with a 12V battery when indictated on the order form that you wish this to have this feature.

Also Available is the Destron Antenna Splitter for use of the Destron Universal Portable Reader with 2 antennas connected at the same time.
